About Broward Edu Funding and where our data comes from

A plain-spoken guide to Florida school-choice funding for Broward County parents, drawn from the state's own private school records.

Florida pours more money into private school choice than any other state, but the details are scattered for parents: award tables live in one place, deadlines in another, and the list of participating schools sits in a state database few families ever open. Broward Edu Funding gathers all of it for Broward County, showing the award for your child's grade, the programs you can use and the schools that accept the money.

A School Funding Advisor reads every family's funding check and calls back with a plan. A few schools and organizations are our partners; each is labeled where it appears, and none of them changes the sources we suggest. You can reach us at (954) 866-1936.

Where does the Broward school data come from?

Each listing reproduces what the school reported to the Florida Department of Education Private School Directory (Broward district), which we pulled on October 28, 2026. That includes the state school number, address, website, grades, religious affiliation, the students served, accreditation, disability categories, enrollment by grade, the year of the latest survey and the state's FTC, FES-EO, FES-UA and PEP participation flags. The site covers 357 schools, of which 251 carry the FTC/FES-EO flag, 244 FES-UA and 30 PEP.

Which schools does this site leave out?

Only Broward County appears here. The district pull also held 3 records with mailing addresses in Miami Lakes, Jacksonville or Boca Raton, and those are omitted along with every Miami-Dade school.

Where do the award amounts come from?

The Broward figures ($8,494 K-3, $7,896 4-8, $7,701 9-12 for the Private School Scholarship and PEP; $10,658, $10,060 and $9,865 for FES-UA at the standard level) come from Step Up For Students' 2026-27 county tables. Dates are taken from Step Up's 2026-27 deadline FAQ as it stood in October 2026. The state does not collect tuition, though a school can add its own by claiming its listing.

Spotted an error? Have the school correct its state survey, which is the fastest route, or write to hello@browardedufunding.com and we will fix the listing. We re-pull the directory on a regular schedule.

Broward Edu Funding is published by Boss Leads. Nothing here comes from a school, a scholarship funding organization, Step Up For Students or a government body.
