Hybrid schools that take PEP in Broward

A PEP hybrid is a private school that a child attends in person for a minimum of two full days weekly, with the remaining days run by the family under its own learning plan. 30 Broward schools hold the state's PEP participant flag.

Last verified: October 2026

What makes a school a PEP hybrid?

Three conditions apply. The school has to appear in the state's private school directory as eligible, the child may not be a full-time enrollee, and the child has to be physically present for two or more whole days each week. Once those hold, the account covers tuition and the usual list of allowed fees.

How much of the PEP account does a hybrid use?

Hybrid tuition usually sits well below the $7,701-to-$8,494 Broward award, which leaves the rest for curriculum, tutoring, electives and testing.

How do I find them?

Each school carrying the state's PEP flag is marked on its page in our directory, and a school may claim its listing to post a schedule and tuition.

Can FES-UA pay for a hybrid?

New for 2026-27, an FES-UA account may pay tuition at an eligible hybrid private school as long as the two-day attendance rule and a learning plan are in place.

What is a PEP hybrid, and what is it not?

A PEP hybrid is a part-week private school paid from a family account, as the table shows.
